Asia captain Naomichi Ozaki has named Jeev Milkha Singh as his third pick for next years Royal Trophy . The Asian Player of the Year was present in this years Royal Trophy as Asia suffered a humiliating 12½-3½ points defeat, though Ozaki has decided Singh is worth keeping faith in.
Singh, who also won the 2006 Asian Tour Order of Merit, joins Hideto Tanihara and Toru Tanighuci in the Asian team to take on the Europeans. The news comes one day after Seve Ballesteros named Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood as his first picks for the tournament, which will be hosted at the Amata Springs Country Club in Chonburi, Bangkok, from January 11th-13th.
With eight men on each side, both captains have plenty of important decisions left to make regarding who to call up for next years tournament.
