Callaway Golf has announced that it has agreed a partnership with St Andrews Links golf course to sell golf products bearing both brands. The deal means that the St Andrews Links marquee will appear on all products produced. Amongst the merchandise to be manufactured are golf balls, golf bags, putters and wedges, in addition to other products.
The financial terms of the deal werent disclosed, though it was revealed that profits from the sales of merchandise will go towards the preservation and maintenance of the seven links courses managed by Callaway .
The news has boosted Callaways share price, with a 5.9 per cent increases in share price that day, meaning shares closed at $16.44 a piece.
