London has a new premier 9 hole golf course following the opening of the Playgolf Northwick Park . Playgolf Ambassador Les Ferdinand, the former England and Tottenham footballer, opened the course, which features replicas of some of golf’s most famous holes. The Majors Course at the complex will be permanently set up for the new PowerPlay form of golf.
The Harrow based complex are offering a special Power of 9 promotion to encourage golfers to play at the course. Any visitors who sign up to the course’s monthly newsletter will be eligible for special money off vouchers saving them up to £50.
The course has been open since late 2005, but has been a six hole course until now. However, the course has now completed its original plan of developing a high calibre nine hole golf course .
In addition to the Majors Course, the complex also has a 56 bay two tier driving range, a teaching academy, a state of the art gym and fully automated baseball and softball batting cages.
