Two of Australia’s leading golfers have given their support to the proposed OneAsia Tour. World Number 5 Adam Scott and Number 17 Geoff Ogilvy are regulars on the US PGA Tour, but have backed the concept of a OneAsia Tour, which has been proposed by the PGA of their native Australia .
Scott and Ogilvy affirmed their commitment to the US PGA Tour for the foreseeable future, but admitted they could be tempted to participate in OneAsia Tour events within a decade should it be successfully established.
The duo voiced their excitement at the prospect of China and Korea combining forces to create a powerful alternative tour in the golfing world. It has been suggested that the OneAsia Tour could start as early as next year, despite the proposals suffering setbacks.
