Tiger Woods has unveiled plans for his luxury private golf and ocean club in Mexico . The Punta Brava golf club will be located alongside the Ensenada shoreline providing visitors with an ocean view. The development includes plans for Woods’ 18 hole par 70 course, as well as an ocean club, a private clubhouse, a wellness centre and spa, numerous recreational activities and several dining venues. There will also be 40 estate lots, 80 villas and a 20 villa private hotel for residents and guests with each villa accompanied by a private swimming pool . Construction is set to begin in early 2009, with the entire project scheduled to be complete by 2011.
Tiger Woods said, ‘Well I want to provide an environment where people will take, will feel the serenity of the golf course and the environment. Basically, it's one of the reasons why I've done so many different routings, is to make sure we capture that and having the ability to say that at every tee, every fairway, every green, you can see the water. Seventeen greens and our tee boxes are going to be on the water, eight holes are going to be along the cliffs and eight shots will be played over water. Not too many golf courses can say that.’
